Studios in San Diego
To Meet Your Video Production Needs
San Diego Studios
Need a studio with a white cyc? A green screen? Need space with a desk for four doctors to deliver a live-stream conference? A space large enough to drive a car into? A quiet sound stage? Once you determine your specific studio needs, call on the experts at Crystal Pyramid Productions to focus in on the best studio to meet your needs.
If you need a larger space for video production here in sunny San Diego, let us hook you up with one of many partner studios we have worked with and vetted ourselves over many years. Some studios would for instance lend themselves more to photography than video because of sound issues, depending on their location. We know which studio has a classic brick background, which ones have medium to large white cyclorama walls, which ones offer creative backdrops or tableaux, which ones nickel-and-dime you over amenities that may be crucial to your shoot, ones into which you could drive a car. We’ve done all the homework on local studios, so let us help you choose the best one for your production.
Our Private Studio
Studio Rental Options: We have an intimate quiet home studio that is 28′ x 20′ x 14′ H, providing space for good depth of field. We have a 20’ x 12’ green screen set up. This can be traded out for a 12-foot wide white cyc or additional available backdrops of varying colors and patterns. This location is secluded from street traffic, air traffic and other noise that can halt or ruin a shoot. Our studio space can be configured for videography or photography. A teleprompter can be set up for your interviewee, whether seated or standing.
We also have a large exterior area 40′ x 30′ for shoots featuring an iconic backdrop in San Diego jewel, Cowles Mountain.
Location Scouting Services
What if you want to shoot your video production somewhere other than a studio? We have an in-house Location Scout Master who knows San Diego and surrounding neighborhoods intimately, having lived in the city for five decades. Mark Schulze, our company president, has provided Location Scouting services, delivering destination ideas, specs and photographs to our clients for many years. AMC Date Night needed a spot where you could see the San Diego cityscape in the background so they could shoot bumpers for their films. Voila, a rooftop on Coronado filled the bill. Video Producer Kevin E. Taylor needed several locations where gospel singer Tonex could deliver bumpers for his “Lifted” show on BET. We took him everywhere in the city, from Mission Trails Regional Park to Mission Bay.
Inside or outside, our stellar Crystal Pyramid Productions crew has you covered.
